Wotofo Serpent SMM RTA

The Wotofo Serpent SMM 24mm RTA is designed by Wotofo and Suck My Mod.  A brand that is quickly becoming widely know and popular.  Wotofo has been doing some terrific things in the vape game and the Serpent SMM RTA falls nothing short of wonderful.

Serpent Airflow

The Serpent SMM features a unique redirected airflow system which brings air in from a dual adjustable bottom airflow control ring, and redirects the air up into the posts of the build deck where it exits parallel with the coil. This airflow system helps reduce leakage in comparison with traditional bottom airflow and offers enhanced flavor production.

Open or Closed

The adjustable air flow is great for both direct to lung inhalers and mouth to lung inhalers.  You can even close the airflow all the way off.  Open up the airflow just a little bit to get a tighter more restricted hit.  This makes it easier for mouth to lung inhalers to get a full cloud of smoke.  With the airflow wide open you can quickly draw in the vaper clouds directly to the lungs.

Serpent Build Deck

The build deck of the Serpent SMM RTA is designed with two post that sit next to two slotted terminals per post.  This allows coil mounting for both forward and reverse wrapped coils.  This Wotofo RTA is target towards single coil vapers but that’s not to say you couldn’t fit more coils with some very careful planing.

The Wotofo Serpent SMM RTA also features a gold plated 510 contact.  The gold plated contact allows high conductivity between the RTA and your battery powered mod.  This translates in to faster ramp ups and more efficient battery usage.

Building

To build this Wotofo baby simply wrap a coil and place it down the center channel.  Tighten down the screws and begin wicking.  When placing your cotton you don’t want to over stuff the coil. Once cotton is placed in the coil, fluff out the ends with a tooth pick or something relatively pointy.  Slide the ends of the cotton wick through the circular holes on both sides.  This will allow the wicks to feed from the E-Liquid well.

Wotofo RTA Package

Included in the package are some extra prebuild coils.   They run great in the Serpent SMM RTA but could also be kept as back ups.  You also get a lot of extra parts like a glass tube, o-rings, screws, cotton wicking, and even some tools for building. The special ULTEM 510 drip tip and adapter is great so you don’t burn your mouth.

Overall, the Serpent SMM RTA has a very decent E-Liquid capacity for its size and shape.  A good sized diameter while no being overbearingly tall.

Let’s not forget a very decent 4ml E-Juice capacity and a threaded top fill system for easy filling.
